getting There
Directions & Travel Links
Advised route from Tours via all directions.Take (peage) toll road through to Chàtellerault or Poitiers. Poitiers is much better signposted than Chàtellerault and unless you know the place it can be confusing to drive through.
Poitiers to Chauvigny ( route 151 ) is approximately 35-40 minutes drive signposted well for St. Savin. On approach to St. Savin you will see sign on your right for Antigny. On arrival in Antigny there is a triangular tree lined center, opposite the Mairies and church. Follow up past the triangle pinnacle climbing a hill out of the village for 2km and through a hamlet named Montguerand. Continue on for 500metres and to your left a small sign for La Faye. Follow through Hamlet to the very last property on your left. There is Parking for two vehicles in front of the house. Any problems, or should you lose your sense of direction, please telephone. Bon Voyage!
Another route you could follow is via Chateauroux. Come off peage (toll road) at section 15 and follow route 151 through St Goutier and La Blanc for St Savin, then follow same directions for Antigny.
PS When travelling from Paris on the peage decide which route you are going to take when you reach Orleans. Orleans to Tours then Poitiers, or Orleans to Chateauroux. Both routes lead you onto the 151 in either direction.
