La Faye creates a perfect back drop for a large group of people up to 14 to stay and share their passion and love for the arts and countryside together.

The surrounding landscape of the hamlet plus the nearby picturesque villages provide endless possibilities for the artist to paint and practice.

We envisage the gites during ‘Retreat weeks’ to be used by groups of painters, writers, readers and musicians- all forms of art we have ourselves a direct interest and involvement in.

The site can be used for a comfortable retreat with guided activities and group projects thus enriching the holiday experience.

For those for whom cycling is a passion the area gives limitless scope for day outings by bike to villages or just through incredible unspoilt countryside.

With our own modest chicken area and ‘no dig potager’ we hope to eventually establish a thriving vegetable and kitchen garden plot of considerable volume not just to distribute fresh organic food but also to share knowledge of the practice of sustainable organic self-sufficiency.
