Although booking Terms and Conditions are often laborious to read they are important. Please read the following carefully and if you think there is a mistake or anything to discuss please contact us for clarification:

The price of the accommodation is set at the time you place your booking and further verified when your booking is confirmed. 

Payment is by debit card or credit card and must be in the currency as shown in the booking.

Bank transfers are a possibility only if card payments can’t be made. Any bank or transfer charges are at your cost.

We do not accept cheques.

A deposit of 25% of the total cost of the accommodation is due at the time you place your booking and the balance is due no later than eight weeks before the arrival date unless the arrival date is less than eight weeks from the date of the booking, in which case the full balance must be paid at the time you place your booking.

The maximum number of people staying in the property is set as part of the booking process. The number of people staying must not exceed the number specified at the time of booking.

You must be over the age of 18 to book.

If you fail to pay the balance of the cost of your accommodation by the date required your booking will be cancelled. Although we do issue reminders to help you make your payment in good time please be responsible and punctual with your booking payment.

Any cancellation must be notified in writing.

If you cancel your holiday more than eight weeks before your holiday starts your deposit is not refunded. 

If you cancel less than eight weeks before the holiday starts then the full balance is due and not refundable unless we are able to fill your booking with a replacement. 

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen loss.

In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel a booking due to an event outside our control we will promptly contact you if this happens and we will refund your payment in full.

Check-in is at 4pm or after. Check-out is by 10am or before. The accommodation will not be available at any time outside of the check in and out times unless this has been agreed in advance. We will make every effort to make sure the accommodation is available to you on time. However, on the rare chance there may be a delay due to an event outside our control we will ask for your understanding and patience.

Although we are pet friendly pets are only permitted on the property if agreed by in writing. If you turn up with a pet that has not been agreed you will be refused entry. Pets must be vaccinated and house trained. At La Faye we have a cat and a dog and chickens so any animal brought with you must be kept under your control and not a menace to us or our animals or our guests.

Please keep animals off of the soft furnishings and beds.

Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited inside the Property. If you do smoke outside the property please be sure to collect and dispose of any cigarette butts.

We like to keep our website imagery as up to date as possible but images may be subject to change over time.

Broadband internet access is offered in all properties. No compensation is offered if there is a temporary outage of internet, gas, electricity, water or TV.

Activities or events promoted on our website are not supplied by us. If you wish to carry out any activity at or near the property you must book the activity with the relevant provider.

It is your responsibility to take proper care of the property and its contents during your stay and you may receive an invoice for any damage caused or loss suffered if the property and its contents are not left in the same state in which it is found at the beginning of your holiday.

We may ask to enter the property at any time during your stay to inspect the property or to carry out any maintenance.

We reserve the right to terminate immediately any client’s stay if their behaviour is damaging to the property or anti-social.

Guests are responsible for their children. Please keep children under control and under supervision. Never leave children unattended.

We are not responsible or liable for any loss of or damage to any of your items, belongings or vehicles incurred by you or outside our control.

The gites are cleaned to a professional level for your arrival. Please ensure they are clean and in good order when you leave. 

Should any event or circumstance beyond our control occur which means the property cannot be provided to you we will inform you as soon as possible so alternative accommodation or a refund can be arranged for you.

La Faye is not just our business but it is also our home. We hope you respect the property as you would your own. It is a quiet hamlet so please keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. It is a shared site so please be considerate to others.

Any issues or complaints must be reported to us immediately so we may remedy any problem.

All data you provide to us will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
